Azine grew up in Chandler, Arizona. She has a strong background in both customer service and leadership experience and has several years of experience in project coordination and administration.
As our Client Concierge, Azine uses her keen problem solving and forward thinking skills to keep our office running smoothly. Her responsibilities include managing our front office, scheduling appointments and acting as a liaison between the client and the advisor to ensure all necessary paperwork is complete and accurately submitted.
Azine is currently pursuing a degree in Project Management and enjoys traveling around the world. She speaks English, French, and Farsi, and is learning Italian as well. For years she has been a volunteer tutor at UMOM, a homeless shelter in Phoenix, and has a passion for educating and helping others. In her spare time, Azine enjoys utilizing painting and landscape photography as a creative outlet.
TJ Tillman, AWMA®
With over a decade of experience in banking, debt management, and retirement planning, TJ has worked in the capacities of Banker, Certified Debt Counselor, and Financial Advisor. He has been employed by one of the world’s largest financial services firms as well as one of the nation’s leading life insurance companies. TJ holds the Accredited Wealth Management Advisor (AWMA) designation through the College for Financial Planning. Through his experience, TJ has developed a unique and holistic financial planning approach that has been incorporated into the planning process at Empire Wealth Management.
As one of the founding partners of Empire Wealth Management, TJ helps his clients plan for their futures by considering all aspects of their financial lives including retirement planning, college planning, budgeting, debt payoff, business interests, estate planning, and life insurance. TJ seeks to provide the highest level of client service through proactive communication. He believes this objective is more effectively delivered by private firms with longer-term vision than typical corporate America.
TJ currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Small Business Alliance and also serves on their Free Enterprise Committee.
Paul E. Mann
With over 17 years of experience as a Financial Advisor, Paul has an extremely diverse background. He spent several years as an option trader at a large brokerage firm. He also has experience as a Life Insurance and Long Term Care Insurance Producer and as Vice President of Investments at one of the world’s largest financial services firms. In an effort to achieve the high level of service he desired to extend to his clients, Paul co-founded Empire Wealth Management.
Paul focuses on using tax-efficient investment strategies to manage his client’s financial risk, and protect their assets. In 2007 Paul received special recognition from the Mesa Police Department for protecting his clients from financial exploitation and assisting in the arrest of deceitful individuals.
Paul is an Eagle Scout. In his early twenties he lived in Taiwan for 2 years where he became fluent in Mandarin Chinese. He currently serves on the Free Enterprise Committee and the Election Committee for the Small Business Alliance. He also routinely volunteers with Junior Achievement of Arizona as well as Boy Scouts of America.

Adam started his career in the Banking, Finance and Insurance industry over fifteen years ago. While working as a banker with one of the nation’s largest financial institutions, Adam’s main expertise was helping his clients with their financial needs in both a business and personal capacity.
Adam’s main objective is to not only help his clients grow their wealth and plan for the future, but to help protect the assets that they worked so hard to obtain. Now that Adam’s focus is primarily on Insurance and asset protection, he can offer the utmost quality and excellence to all of his current and future clients. Having worked as an agent for a national insurance provider for 5 years, Adam brings a level of expertise in the insurance industry that is second to none. Adam is someone that truly cares about his clients and treats them as if they were his own friends and family.
J. Steve Harper, CFP®, ChFC®, CASL®, RICP®
Steve Harper is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. He also holds the Chartered Advisor for Senior Living®, Chartered Financial Consultant®, and Retirement Income Certified Professional® designations from the American College as well as a Bachelor’s of Science in Business and Finance. Although Steve knows that knowledge, education, and experience are important, he feels that long term success comes through earning the trust of his clients through a personal relationship as they learn how much he cares about them, their families, and their success.
Steve lives with his wife Amy and their three children. He enjoys spending time with his kids at the park, swimming, jumping on the trampoline, or riding bikes as he knows they are growing up quickly and will not be kids for long.
Rand A. Harper
Rand has several years of experience as a small business owner and has been a financial advisor for nearly 5 years. Rand holds a Series 65 securities license enabling him to work with individuals and couples in the management of their investments as well as fulfill their financial planning needs. He is also insurance licensed with the State of Arizona.
Rand lives with his wife Rhiannan and their four children in Mesa. He enjoys being in the outdoors with his family, camping, hunting and fishing.
